eBay - Buyer beware!
There seems to be an ever increasing number of ‘Genuine Pandora Charms' appearing for sale on eBay and while some of these listings may be for genuine Pandora charms they will certainly not be being sold by certified Pandora retailers, and there is little or no guarantee that the item you receive will indeed be a genuine Pandora charm.
Many listings are in fact very good replicas of Pandora charms and even list the Pandora product code for the items so that if you cross reference the charm with the Pandora website it would appear to be the genuine article. One question you should always ask if you are considering buying a Pandora charm from eBay is ‘Does the charm have the Pandora ‘ALE' hallmark?' If the seller states that is does have the Pandora hallmark then ask the seller for a close up photograph of the hallmark. Even if the charm does have the Pandora hallmark you still run the risk of purchasing a fake charm.
Good replicas are now being produced which have the Pandora ‘ALE' hallmark.
As with most things in life, if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!
