Can you clean jewellery that wasn’t purchased from Hugh Rice?

Yes - we offer professional cleaning for all jewellery. Cleaning is complimentary for items bought from us, or from £29.95 for others.

How long does jewellery cleaning or resizing take?

Most cleaning services are completed the same day; general repairs take around 2-3 weeks.

Do you provide bespoke jewellery design services?

Our valuations include gemstone analysis, hallmark checks, photographs, and a detailed condition report.

Do you buy unwanted or scrap gold?

Yes - we purchase scrap gold, and platinum, with payment via bank transfer or against a part-exchange available.

Do I need to book an appointment for jewellery services?

Appointments are recommended for jewellery repairs, valuations, and bespoke design consultations to ensure dedicated time with our experts. However, you’re welcome to visit without an appointment - we’re open for walk-ins 7 days a week.
