The Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch 321 is back! A new stainless steel version will soon be released.

Finally, we have something to look forward to…

The 321 is back and better than ever. Last year, OMEGA announced the long-awaited return of its iconic Calibre 321, unveiling the first new timepiece to house the movement – the Moonwatch in platinum. Now they are releasing this model - which is next in line for legendary status - introducing the 321-powered OMEGA Speedmaster in stainless steel.

Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch

The legendary OMEGA Speedmaster is one of the world’s most iconic timepieces, having played a role in all six lunar missions.

51 years-ago this July, the astronauts of Apollo 11 were taking the first ever human footsteps onto the moon. Inside the crew’s OMEGA Speedmaster watches was the now-famous Calibre 321, a movement that not only became legendary that day, but also returned for every lunar landing in history.

Inspired by the same 3rd generation style worn during America’s first spacewalk in 1965, this model features a 39.7 MM case, complete with a polished, black ceramic bezel displaying a tachymeter scale in white, three debossed sub-dials at the centre and the original, vintage OMEGA logo. Gracing the black step dial are the familiar Moonwatch hands, small seconds sub-dial, 30-minute recorder and 12-hour recorder, as well as a central chronograph hand.

To the untrained eye, the flat link bracelet looks nearly identical to its vintage predecessors. But of course, the new 321 is thoughtfully updated with modern materials where possible. A movement as beautiful as the 321 should be visible at all times, so owners can admire the iconic Calibre through the sapphire crystal case back.Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch

One of the most sought-after watches according to collectors around the world, the 321 powered the Speedmasters qualified by NASA for use on all manned space missions and drove the chronographs worn by Apollo 11 astronauts.

The all-steel case is punctuated with bold flashes of black and white monochrome; this bold aesthetic is continued throughout the dial and bezel of the case, bringing this stellar timepiece to life.
