OMEGA Commander's Watch Inspired by James Bond
OMEGA have announced a Limited Edition Seamaster watch inspired by the naval rank and regalia of James Bond. The Seamaster Diver 300m ‘Commander’s Watch’ flies the colours of the British Royal Navy and is limited to just 7,007 pieces.
OMEGA have provided watches to military divers across the globe for decades. In World War II alone, they delivered 110,000 watch to the British MOD. If Commander James Bond had needed a watch during wartime service, you can bet he would have had OMEGA.
The Commander's Watch is bold and sophisticated. A blue ceramic bezel surrounds the stately 41mm stainless steel case featuring a Liquidmetal® diving scale and red rubber-blended first quarter. In polished white ceramic, the dial features skeleton blue indexes, hour and minute hands. The red second hand features a 007 gun logo counterweight, whilst the date window features blue numbers except for a distinctive red ‘7’.
To serve any diving needs, OMEGA have incorporated a screw-in crown, unidirectional rotating bezel and helium escape valve. With a water resistance of 300m, the watch can handle any impact water sports like scuba diving or board diving.
Turn the watch over to see the engraved limited edition number run along the bottom of the open, wave-edged caseback. The new OMEGA Calibre 2507 movement is designed to impress with a rotor detailed with Commander’s stripes and 007 gun logo in gold. A central 9mm ‘bullet’ finishes the superspy look.
Initially presented on a NATO strap with a 5-strip pattern in blue, red and grey and finished with a polished tang buckle, if your preference is a stainless steel bracelet, OMEGA have included one in the box, featuring a 007-emblazoned deployment clasp. For those wanting to change swiftly between looks, OMEGA also provide a branded changing tool.
As well as a ‘naval pin’ in NATO material and colours, the watch is delivered in a suave blue and gold presentation box inspired by a real medal case. For reassurance of quality, OMEGA provide a 3 year warranty.
