Breitling Avi Ref.765 1953 Re-Edition Steel & Black 41MM Chronograph Watch

When this watch was first introduced back in the early 1950s, it was known as the other main star next to another Breitling icon – the Navitimer. The new Avi Ref.765 1953 Re-Edition Chronograph features a mid-sized 41mm case diameter, accentuating its presence on the wrist and enhancing the originality of its design. Expertly crafted from both polished and satin-brushed stainless steel, the 41 mm case contains a black dial with co-ordinating black chronograph counters. Adorning the dial, beige number indexes and hour and minute hands feature with a Super­LumiNova® coating, which makes the watch legible in limited-light situations and brings an additional touch of vintage allure. The three chronograph sub-dials keep track of 1/5 second, 15 minutes and 12 hours. Finished with the iconic Breitling branding and protected with a highly domed Hesalite crystal cover and a screwed-in case back displaying the Breitling stamp of authenticity. Surrounding the dial, the bezel is secured by three screws that are placed in precisely the same positions as those on the watch from 1953. Presented on a black vintage leather strap - known for its softness and ability to look good over time - with a tang-type pin buckle fastening for the ultimate comfort and convenience.
