Breitling Classic AVI Chronograph Tribute to Vought F4U Corsair 42MM Watch

It’s a celebration of aviation history with designs inspired by the original Ref. 765 AVI aviator’s watch and four legendary planes: the North American Aviation P-51 Mustang, the Vought F4U Corsair, the Curtiss P-40 Warhawk, and the Mosquito. The classic AVI Tribute to Vought F4U Corsair takes its design cues from the characteristic livery of the record-breaking naval aircraft. It features a round 42MM case diameter, accentuating its presence on the wrist and enhancing the originality of its design. Expertly crafted from both polished and satin-brushed stainless steel, the 42MM case contains a blue dial with co-ordinating blue chronograph counters. Adorning the dial, white number indexes and hour and minute hands are set with a Super­LumiNova® coating, which makes the watch legible in limited-light situations and brings an additional touch of vintage allure. The three chronograph sub-dials keep track of 1/4 second, 30-minute and 12-hour. Complete with the iconic Breitling branding and protected with a cambered sapphire crystal cover. Surrounding the dial, the bidirectional ratcheted bezel features a black pointer and numeral markings. Presented on a stainless stell five-link bracelet - known for its strength and durability - with a folding clasp fastening for the ultimate comfort and convenience. The Classic AVI Tribute to Vought F4U Corsair is powered by the in-house Breitling Manufacture Calibre 23 movement, which provides approximately 48-hours of power reserve.
