The Navitimer 8 is named after the Breitling department launched in 1938 and is responsible for producing its cockpit timers and early pilot's wristwatches, elegantly straightforward numbers that offered precision and clarity in equal good measure. The Navitimer 8 B01 Chronograph 43 is a new season design, taking inspiration from the key parts of past Breitling models. Crafted from satin-brushed stainless steel, the round 43 mm case contains a sleek blue dial, adorned with number indexes and sword-shaped hour and minute hands that have been set with a luminescent fill, for high visibility in the dark. With a chronograph slim seconds hand and a white railroad seconds/minute counter surrounding the outer rim. Featuring a date window and three contrasting silver sub-dials; a small seconds at the 9 o'clock position and 30 minute and 12 hour counters at 12 and 6 o'clock respectively. Finished with the iconic Breitling branding and protected with a glare-proof, cambered sapphire crystal glass cover. With a co-ordinating, satin-brushed and polished steel bracelet that's filled with character and a deployment clasp fastening for a secure and comfortable fit. Powered by the in-house Breitling Manufacture Calibre 01, the self-winding watch has a ratchet-wheel chronograph with vertical coupling and an impressive power reserve of more than 70 hours. Readily identifiable by its scalloped, bidirectional bezel, solid screwed case back and screw-locked crown, it's water resistant up to 100 m, which is ideal for every day wear.
