The 2022 redesign, with its focus on colour, styling, and inclusive appeal, marks a new phase in the Navitimer’s journey, one that blends Breitling’s modern aesthetics and values with its historic watchmaking knowledge to create an updated identity for the iconic watch that started it all. The Navitimer B01 Chronograph is expertly crafted from stainless steel and features a mid-sized 43MM case diameter which is still bold, yet thinner and more streamlined than it has ever been before. It's adorned by a mesmerising ice blue dial with dramatic black inlay, complete with luminescent steel baton hour indexes and hour and minute hands, for high visibility in dark climates. Details include a slim red second hand and three chronograph sub-dials for 1/4 seconds, 30-minutes and 12-hours. Another new design feature is the integrated date aperture. Finished with the iconic Breitling branding and protected with a domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass cover. Surrounding the dial is a bi-directional, ratcheted rotating bezel, which controls the flattened 'Slide Rule', aka 'Navigation Computer'. The Slide-Rule complication can compute different airborne calculations such as fuel consumption, climbing times & converting miles into nautical miles or kilometres. The matching seven-link stainless-steel bracelet is secured with a deployment clasp for ultimate comfort and convenience when on your wrist. Complete with an automatic, self-winding movement, a Breitling 01 engine which can be seen through the redesigned glass case back, and an impressive 70-hour power reserve, it's recognisable for its unmistakable, cutting-edge watchmaking technology.
