And if there is one feature sure to spark nostalgia, it’s the return of the AOPA wings to their original position at 12 o’clock. The Navitimer B01 Chronograph is expertly crafted from stainless steel and features a smaller-sized 41MM case diameter which is sleeker, thinner and more streamlined than it has ever been before. It's adorned by a sunray silver dial with brilliant white inlay, complete with luminescent 18k rose-gold baton hour indexes and hour and minute hands, for high visibility in dark climates. Details include a slim red second hand and three chronograph sub-dials for 1/4 seconds, 30-minutes and 12-hours. Another new design feature is the integrated date aperture. Finished with the iconic Breitling branding and protected with a domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass cover. Surrounding the dial is a bi-directional, ratcheted rotating bezel, which controls the flattened 'Slide Rule', aka 'Navigation Computer'. The Slide-Rule complication can compute different airborne calculations such as fuel consumption, climbing times & converting miles into nautical miles or kilometres. The semi shiny, golden brown alligator strap is secured with a deployment buckle for ultimate comfort and convenience when on your wrist. Complete with an automatic, self-winding movement, a Breitling 01 engine which can be seen through the redesigned glass case back, and an impressive 70-hour power reserve, it's recognisable for its unmistakable, cutting-edge watchmaking technology.
