Breitling Superocean Automatic 42MM Steel & Black Dial Watch

Available in four sizes – 46, 44, 42, and 36 MM – the new Breitling Superocean collection’s varied and colourful dials have been paired with three different case metals—steel, steel-gold, and bronze. The 42MM Steel & Black Dial model defines the classic dive watch. It was originally created by Breitling in 1957 to equip professional and military divers, but it immediately developed a following among leisure divers and watch enthusiasts. Built to last, it's created from satin-brushed and polished stainless steel. The mid-sized yet sturdy, round 42MM case is adorned by a smart black dial, with mixed dot and baton hour indexes and three-hands, all set with a Super-LumiNova® coating to ensure outstanding underwater visibility. Featuring a vibrant red arrow second hand for diving, a black and white minute tracker surrounding the outer edge of the dial and finished with the iconic Breitling branding at the dial’s centre. Protection is ensured by the cambered, glare-proof sapphire crystal glass cover. The black ceramic unidirectional rotating bezel displays clearly visible, large numerals, a countdown of the last 15 dive-time minutes and a circle with a luminescent marker at 12 o’clock. The co-ordinating, steel three-link bracelet is filled with character, and it fastens with a new-style folding clasp with micro-adjustment for a secure and comfortable fit, and easy to wear over dive suits. Precision is ensured by a chronometer-certified self-winding Breitling 17 Calibre, with 26 jewels and 28,800 vibrations per hour and an impressive 38-hour power reserve. Shock, sand and saltwater-resistant, with a water resistance of 300M (1000ft), this watch triples the minimum requirement for a dive watch.
