Deputy Manager, Client Relationship and Events Executive

40 hours per week

The opportunity

Reporting directly to the Store Manager this is a luxury retail Deputy Manager role with a difference. Our Harrogate store opened in 2014 and has rapidly gained a loyal and growing client base. We now have an opportunity for the right candidate to play a major supporting role in building on this success and growth.

As Deputy Manager you will support the Manager as a team to deliver market leading customer experiences resulting in sales that generate market leading financial growth. Part of this role will be a focus on the planning and execution of in store customer events along with external networking generating new customer opportunities resulting in arranging appointments for the sales team.

Managing the sales floor and private viewing areas on a daily basis you will support the sales team to deliver on customers wants, needs and desires professionally presenting jewellery and watches. The ability to build a connection and rapport with all customers visiting the store and surpass their expectations is an essential requirement. A natural and successful sales person, you will lead by example. Strong leadership skills including motivation, coaching, effective listening and feedback are a must coupled with a highly driven attitude to succeed. Whilst previous watch and jewellery experience is highly desirable exceptional candidates from other luxury retail and hospitality backgrounds will be considered.

The role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Security Officer to join the team at our Hugh Rice store in Hull.

The Security Officer will ensure the safety and security of customers, employees, premises and property whilst adding to the customers overall shopping experience.

Using a genuine and open approach you will engage with all customers and visitors, whilst remaining alert at all times to potential security risks.

Although a degree of flexibility is required, the base rota shift pattern for the role is as follows:

 

Monday:              9am – 6pm (30 min break)

Tuesday:              OFF

Wednesday:      9am – 6pm (30 min break)

Thursday:            9am – 6pm (30 min break)

Friday:                  OFF

Saturday:             OFF
Sunday:                                9am – 6pm (30 min break)

The candidate

You will be very well presented and capable of working in a high value jewellery boutique environment.

The successful candidate will be reliable, punctual and have a degree of flexibility to ensure a high level of security is always retained in store.

Previous experience within a security role ideally within a front of house environment is essential.

You must also hold a current SIA licence.
