Rolex Guarantee
To ensure the precision and reliability of its timepieces, Rolex submits each watch after assembly to a stringent series of tests. All new Rolex watches purchased from one of the brand’s Official Retailers come with a five-year international guarantee. When you buy a Rolex, the Official Retailer fills out and dates the Rolex guarantee card that certifies your watch’s authenticity.
The green seal
The five-year guarantee which applies to all Rolex models is coupled with the green seal, a symbol of its status as a Superlative Chronometer. This exclusive designation attests that the watch has successfully undergone a series of specific final controls by Rolex in its own laboratories according to its own criteria, in addition to the official COSC certification of its movement.
Rolex presentation box
Every Rolex is delivered in a beautiful green presentation box that is both protector and keeper of the jewel that nests inside it. As the presentation box is also a symbol of giving, it is important, if you are purchasing a gift, that the recipient’s first contact with their Rolex sets the stage for revealing what lies within.
Ceramic Bezel and Luminescent Display
The 60-minute graduated, unidirectional rotatable bezel of the Rolex Deepsea enables divers to precisely and safely monitor their dive and decompression times. It is equipped with a patented black Cerachrom bezel insert manufactured by Rolex in a virtually scratchproof ceramic whose colour is unaffected by ultraviolet rays. The graduation is coated via PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) with a thin layer of platinum. The dial features large Chromalight hour markers and hands, filled with luminescent material that emits a long-lasting blue glow for excellent legibility in dark conditions.
Intense black dial
The dial’s luminescent Chromalight display is an innovation that improved visibility in dark environments, an essential feature for divers. Hour markers in simple shapes – triangles, circles, rectangles – and broad hour and minute hands enable instant and reliable reading to prevent any risk of confusion underwater.
Oystersteel
Rolex uses Oystersteel for its steel watch cases. Specially developed by the brand, Oystersteel belongs to the 904L steel family, alloys most commonly used in high-technology and in the aerospace and chemical industries, where maximum resistance to corrosion is essential. Oystersteel is extremely resistant, offers an exceptional finish once polished and maintains its beauty even in the harshest environments.
