As part of the Five Deeps Expedition in 2019, the Ultra Deep made history when it reached the deepest place on Earth. Following that World Record dive, the game-changing watch has now been adapted for a unique collection available to the public. Combining sporty aesthetics with depth-defying technology, the OMEGA Seamaster Planet Ocean 6000M collection is filled with designs which continue OMEGA's rich legacy of ocean exploration. Now sleeker and smoother, these new models run deep with modern design, creative touches, and master chronometer movements. Expertly crafted from satin-brushed robust O-MEGASTEEL, this round, bold 45.5MM model features a lacquered gradient dial transitioning from grey to black with vibrant, bright orange detailing, steel numeral and luminescent baton indexes for high visibility in dark waters. Adorning the dial are rhodium-plated hour, minute and second hands, a second counter surrounds the outer dial edge, and it’s finished with the classic OMEGA Seamaster branding and protected with a glare-proof, domed, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass cover. Mounted on the steel case is a matching orange ceramic, unidirectional rotating bezel, with a surrounding tachymeter scale. The colour co-ordinating O-MEGASTEEL three-link bracelet secures to the wrist with OMEGA’s patented extendable fold over rack-and-pusher, with complementary length adjustment and an extra diver extension. Powered by the OMEGA 8912 calibre, self-winding automatic master chronometer movement, it comes with a five-year brand warranty and has an impressive 60-hour power reserve. Tested in real ocean conditions during its development, the design is water-resistant to an impressive 6,000 metres (20,000 ft.) and meets the ISO 6425:2018 standard for saturation divers’ watches.
