OMEGA Speedmaster Chronoscope Steel & Silver Dial 43MM Chronograph Watch

The OMEGA Speedmaster Chronoscope timepiece is the ultimate tribute to the brand’s history of chronograph design - returning to its vintage roots, it takes inspiration from OMEGA’s chronograph wristwatches from the 1940s. The 43MM satin-brushed stainless-steel case is driven by the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9908, complete with two counters and presented on a co-ordinating five-link bracelet. The mid-sized case is crafted from polished and brushed steel, to ensure the watch always looks pristine. The ultra-modern and smart silver dial features numeral indexes and hands in vibrant blue. Along with sophisticated leaf-shaped hands, OMEGA has paid extra attention to the dial through the placement of a spiral track pattern that runs beneath the Arabic numerals. The style is very similar to the spiralling sub-dials you’ll find on most Speedmaster models. The most notable feature of all the models is the presence of three different chronograph scales; printed in a 1940s “snail” design, each dial reveals a Tachymeter scale for measuring speed or distance, a Pulsometer scale to measure a person’s pulse, and a Telemeter scale for measuring the distance from something that is audible or visible, such as a storm. The dial is protected by a strong and scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass cover, with anti?reflective treatment on both sides. The bezel ring is polished blue anodised aluminium, with a steel tachymeter scale for measuring speed. Through the sapphire crystal on the case-back, owners can view the manual-winding OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9908. The movement and full watch have been certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS) at the industry’s highest standards of precision, performance and magnetic resistance. It’s complete with a power reserve of 60-hours, a 50M water resistance which is ideal for everyday wear and a five-year brand warranty.
