Accurate to a quarter of a second, the Breitling Navitimer 8 chronograph 43 has been entirely developed and produced within Breitling workshops and is at the top of its game for reliability and fine craftsmanship. The Navitimer 8 is named after the Breitling department, launched in 1938 and responsible for producing its cockpit timers and early pilot's wristwatches, elegantly straightforward numbers that offered precision and clarity in equal good measure. Created from DLC-coated stainless steel (Diamond-Like Carbon), the round 43 mm case contains a smart black dial, adorned with numeral indexes and sword-shaped hour and minute hands that have been set with a luminescent fill, for high visibility in the dark. Featuring three sub-dials; a small seconds at the 9 o'clock position and 30 minute and 12 hour counters at 12 and 6 o'clock respectively. With a chronograph slim seconds hand, a white seconds/minute counter surrounding the outer rim and a day & date window located at the 3 o'clock position, to ensure you remain punctual. Finished with the iconic Breitling branding and protected with a glare-proof sapphire crystal glass cover. With a scalloped, bidirectional bezel and a colour co-ordinating, black leather strap, known for its softness and ability to look good over time, with a tang buckle fastening for a secure and comfortable fit. The COSC-certified Breitling Calibre 13 chronometer movement is at the heart of this watch. It is wound automatically with the use of a unilateral ball-bearing rotor, delivering an autonomous running time of more than 42 hours. With a solid screwed case back, it's water resistant up to 100 m, which is ideal for every day wear.
