Calibre 7135's oscillator features a balance staff whose material and manufacture presented a significant challenge, a balance wheel made from optimised brass, and a silicon Syloxi hairspring. The patented balance staff is made from a new high-technology ceramic exclusive to Rolex and is shaped by laser – a first for the brand. Optimised Paraflex shock absorbers give the movement heightened shock resistance in any position. Finally, thanks to the various materials used to produce the oscillator's components, it is able to withstand strong magnetic fields.
