Hugh Rice the Jewellers have been a luxury watch and jewellery retailer in Yorkshire, England since 1971. We are proud to partner with some of the very finest luxury watch brands including Rolex.
From humble beginnings
Our founder Hugh Rice started us on a journey that would span more than half a century. He served as an apprentice at a prestigious department store on George Street in Hull, honing his craft before setting up on his own.
Memorable service
Our first premises was located in 36 George Street in 1971, just a stone’s throw away from Hugh Rice’s former place of employment. Starting life as a clock and watch repairer, our longstanding customers remember the store fondly, especially the warm, friendly service they received.
Rolex at Hugh Rice
In 2018, Hugh Rice became an Official Rolex Retailer and we proudly opened a dedicated Rolex showroom in our flagship store in St Stephen’s Shopping Centre, Kingston upon Hull.
