The workshop has always been at the heart of Hugh Rice the Jewellers. In fact, we were initially established in 1971 as a clock and watch repairers by founder Hugh, after he trained at the department store Carmichael’s. And when his brother Mike joined him in 1974 as an apprentice jeweller, both jewellery and watch services became part of our heritage.

VALUATIONS
Hugh Rice offers professional, in-house jewellery and watch valuations by expert Jenny Dalton (MIRV, gemmologist, diamond grader). Services cover insurance, probate, sale, heirlooms, and more. Valuations include detailed reports, photos, and cleaning.
