TUDOR unveils the 2025 edition of the Black Bay Chrono, reimagined with a sophisticated opaline dial and an upgraded five-link stainless steel bracelet for a refined yet sporty appeal. This latest edition continues the brand’s legacy of blending motorsport precision with maritime durability, delivering a chronograph designed for both the racetrack and the open sea. Crafted for a sleeker, more ergonomic fit, the 41mm stainless steel case retains its robust presence while offering enhanced wearability. The domed opaline dial is a standout feature, creating a striking contrast with deep black sub-dials for an ultra-legible display. Signature Snowflake hands and luminescent dot indexes ensure maximum readability in all lighting conditions, from high-speed circuits to deep waters. A small second counter at 9 o’clock and a 45-minute totalizer at 3 o’clock reinforce the timepiece’s racing heritage, while a date aperture at 6 o’clock and a monochrome second tracker provide additional precision. Encasing the dial is a fixed stainless-steel bezel, complete with a black anodized aluminium disc and tachymeter scale, allowing for quick speed calculations. Vintage-inspired steel screw-down pushers and a screw-down crown, reminiscent of TUDOR’s earliest chronographs, ensure water resistance up to 200 metres while maintaining the watch’s classic appeal. The five-link stainless steel bracelet, a defining upgrade for the 2025 model, brings a new level of comfort and versatility.
