TUDOR's Black Bay 31MM models are a welcome and exciting new addition to the 2023 TUDOR collection, bringing a smaller sized dial to the well-loved Black Bay line. It’s an iconic tribute to the brands well-loved tool watch, whilst increasing and decreasing its proportions to embrace a sophisticated, versatile, unisex chic. The design perfectly incorporates every aspect of the rich Black Bay heritage, including snowflake hands and dot indexes. As a faithful reinterpretation of early TUDOR diving watches, the new Black Bay offerings have been designed for both men and women, refining the iconic aesthetics, clean lines and incorporating a high-shine bezel. Beautifully crafted, the stainless-steel model is complete with a small-sized 31MM case, a smart blue sunray dial and finished with the perfect contrast of rhodium-plated indexes and hands for an elegant touch - all set with a white luminescent fill for high visibility in dark climates. It borrows the characteristic angular hands known to collectors as “Snowflake” from models that appeared in the brand’s 1969 catalogue. Finished with the TUDOR branding at 12 o'clock, it's all protected by a flat sapphire crystal glass cover. In addition to the seductive curves, the highly polished steel bezel and crown is new to the Black Bay line, as the metals used to date have been exclusively satin brushed for a matt finish. Housed within is the automatic Calibre MT5201 movement, providing an impressive 50-hour power reserve, it has a five-year brand transferable guarantee and it's waterproof up to 100M (330 ft) which is ideal for everyday wear. The timepiece is presented on a matching steel bracelet combining both polished and satin-finished links, making this the perfect choice for the fashion-conscious with a penchant for quality. Whilst it is neo-vintage in conception, the TUDOR Black Bay manufacturing techniques, reliability, robustness, and the quality of its finish are consistent with today's more rigorous requirements.
