Diving into to core of the Pelagos 39, the case is crafted from polished and satin-brushed titanium, and the newly sized 39MM round timepiece is adorned with a smart black dial with a high-performance luminescent material on the hour indexes. The characteristic angular hands, known as snowflake, are also luminous to maintain high visibility in dark waters. Finished with the iconic TUDOR branding and protected with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal cover. The unidirectional, rotatable titanium bezel has a black ceramic disc with a 60-minute retrograde graduation for navigation by successive stages. Underwater navigation entails restarting a countdown at each change of course. The anticlockwise graduation and luminescence of the bezel of this model make it easy to set up and monitor each countdown, by aligning the time set for the section to be covered on the bezel with the minute hand. When the minute hand arrives opposite the triangle, the team changes course, and the diver in charge of timing begins the next countdown. The matching titanium bracelet has a ‘T-fit’ folding clasp with safety catch and diver’s extension, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit when wearing. An additional black rubber strap and titanium buckle is included in the box as a complimentary gift, so you have a choice of straps. It's powered with a self-winding mechanical Calibre MT5400 movement and has an impressive 70-hour power reserve.
