Breitling Super Chronomat B01 Steel & Ice Blue 44MM Chronograph watch

The Chronomat celebrated Breitling’s Centenary in style and marked the return of the mechanical chronograph. Nearly forty years later, the Chronomat is set to appeal to men and women of purpose in the pursuit of adventure. What’s more, it’s now presented to you in a subtle, yet sharp ice-blue hue. Expertly crafted from highly polished and brushed stainless steel, this larger-sized 44 MM watch is inspired by the Frecce Tricolori chronograph, which had been developed and launched in 1983. Inside, the ice-blue dial is adorned with steel luminescent indexes and hands for high visibility in dark climates. Additional features include a slim, vibrant blue chronograph second hand and a minute track surrounding the outer edge of the dial. Three black-eye sub-dials complete the dial’s core, with 1/4th second chronograph, 30-minute and 12-hour totalizers. Finished with the iconic Breitling branding and protected with a glare-proof, cambered sapphire crystal glass cover. True to the original Chronomat, the rider tabs protect the sapphire crystal. The ones at 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock are interchangeable, so the wearer can use them for countdowns as well as count-ups. Complemented by a stainless-steel bezel with a black ceramic insert – a first on a Chronomat. The Breitling Manufacture 01 Calibre is protected by an ultra-sturdy case, with a screw-locked crown and water-resistant to a depth of 200M. It’s finished with a transparent sapphire crystal case back that allows you to see the intricate craftsmanship within, beating at 28,800 vibrations per hour, with an impressive 70-hour power reserve. The co-ordinating Rouleaux-inspired black rubber strap fastens with a folding clasp for a secure and comfortable fit when wearing. The new rubber strap is created with state-of-the-art injection moulding techniques. Its three distinct textures – matte, slick, and woven-looking – give it remarkable depth.
