OMEGA Seamaster 300 Steel & Summer Blue 41MM Automatic Watch

We're thrilled to present an OMEGA bestselling collection to our Hugh Rice customers, now featuring a stunning ‘Summer Blue’ dial. First created by OMEGA in 1957, the Seamaster 300 represents one of the most famous watches in underwater history. Admired by generations of divers, it has remained an iconic timepiece for more than 60 years. Not only are the new models thinner than previous versions thanks to the new sapphire glass, but they include plenty of vintage tributes and a brand-new Master Chronometer upgrade. Expertly crafted from satin-brushed stainless steel, this round 41MM model has a much cleaner Summer Blue dial which features only the OMEGA logo and Seamaster 300 name. There are no longer any references to the movement, these have instead been moved to the case back. Perhaps the most noticeable changes can be found on the new dials. For this, OMEGA has utilised a sandwich concept, including a base layer with Super-LumiNova and a second plate over the top with cuttings for the recessed hour markers and numerals. In a nod to history, these numerals are in the vintage Arabic open style, which appeared on early Seamaster 300 models in the 1960s. OMEGA has also reintroduced the popular lollipop central seconds hand for the stainless-steel models, with its tip now filled with light blue Super-LumiNova. The watch experts have also achieved a slightly slimmer Seamaster 300 thanks to a new domed sapphire crystal on the face of the watch. This thinner look is enhanced by the addition of a new conical crown at the side of the case. Mounted on the steel case is a matching unidirectional rotating bezel, with a blue oxalic anodised aluminium ring filled with stunning vintage details and a diving scale. The colour coordinating steel three-link bracelet now comes with an improved fit and finishing. The shape has been ergonomically adjusted with streamlined fittings and a thinner, polished brushed clasp for the ultimate comfort underwater and an easy release. Turning the watch over reveals a stamped commemorative Seamaster logo depicting a trident-bearing Poseidon and two seahorses: OMEGA’s 1956 original and the brand’s current design. the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 8912 completes the design. The movement and full watch have been certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology (METAS) at the industry’s highest standards of precision, performance, and magnetic resistance. This timepiece is complete with a five-year brand warranty, and it has an impressive 60-hour power reserve. It also comes with a splash-proof and water resistant to the depth of 300M, ensuring that it will look striking and perform brilliantly both above the waves and deep below.
