OMEGA Speedmaster ‘57 Steel & Black Dial 40.5MM Chronograph Watch

A brand-new and in-depth overhaul of the vintage-yet-modern Speedmaster, the OMEGA Speedmaster ‘57 timepiece is inspired by the legendary 1957 original, with many new, sleeker additions. Having been part of all six lunar missions and moon landings, the Speedmaster is one of the iconic brand’s bestselling collections, and it’s not hard to see why. The 40.5MM polished and satin-brushed stainless-steel case is strong and sturdy, and the watch is powered by the OMEGA Calibre 9906 manual-winding chronograph movement, complete with chronograph complication and presented on a co-ordinating steel three-link bracelet. The mid-sized case is crafted from polished and brushed steel, to ensure the watch always looks pristine. The ultra-modern and smart black dial features recessed baton hour markers and hands in matching steel, with vintage Super-LumiNova for high visibility in the dark. There is a date window at 6 o'clock, a small seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock, and 12-hour and 60-minute chronograph recorders on the sub-dial at 3 o’clock. The dial is protected by a strong and scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass cover. The brushed bezel includes a blackened tachymeter scale, while on the case back, there is a “Speedmaster ‘57” engraving as well as a flat sapphire crystal with an anti-reflective treatment inside. Powered by the OMEGA manual-winding Calibre 9906, it comes with a power reserve of 60-hours, a 50M water resistance which is ideal for everyday wear and a five-year brand warranty. All packaged in a beautiful OMEGA presentation box. The all-steel case is punctuated with smart black details; this bold aesthetic is continued throughout the dial and bezel of the case, bringing this stellar timepiece to life.
