Influenced by the brand's rich history of chronograph design, the Speedmaster Chronoscope draws inspiration from OMEGA's iconic chronograph wristwatches of the 1940s. With a return to its vintage roots, this watch captures the essence of classic design while incorporating modern innovations. The 43mm satin-brushed stainless-steel case houses the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer Calibre 9908, featuring two counters and ensuring precise timekeeping. It is paired with a matching stainless-steel three link bracelet, adding a touch of sporty elegance to the timepiece. Crafted from polished and brushed steel, the mid-sized case maintains a pristine appearance, while the ultra-modern white opaline dial features vibrant black and gold accents. The dial showcases numeral indexes, sophisticated leaf-shaped hands, and a spiral track pattern reminiscent of the spiralling sub-dials found on classic Speedmaster models. A distinctive feature of this collection is the inclusion of three different chronograph scales, each printed in a 1940s "snail" design. These scales include a Tachymeter scale for measuring speed or distance, a Pulsometer scale for measuring pulse rate, and a Telemeter scale for measuring distance from audible or visible events, such as storms. Protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass cover with anti-reflective treatment on both sides, the dial is both durable and easy to read. The bezel ring, made of polished black anodized aluminium, features a steel tachymeter scale for measuring speed. Finally, the commemorative stainless-steel case back features a stamped medallion with a mirror-polished and frosted Paris 2024 logo, along with the stamped words, "Paris 2024" and the Olympic Rings, which are mirror-polished on a frosted structure.
