Breitling Classic AVI Chronograph Curtiss Warhawk 42MM Watch

A watch collection inspired by the rugged spirit of famed early aircraft; the Classic AVI is the newest timepiece from Breitling. It’s a celebration of aviation history with designs inspired by the original Ref. 765 AVI aviator’s watch and four legendary planes: the North American Aviation P-51 Mustang, the Vought F4U Corsair, the Curtiss P-40 Warhawk, and the Mosquito. The Curtiss Warhawk plays on its namesake’s famous shark-mouth nose art that gave the plane its unmistakable identity. It features a round 42MM case diameter, accentuating its presence on the wrist and enhancing the originality of its design. Expertly crafted from both polished and satin-brushed stainless steel, the 42MM case contains a green dial with co-ordinating white chronograph counters. Adorning the dial, white number indexes and hour and minute hands are set with a Super­LumiNova® coating, which makes the watch legible in limited-light situations and brings an additional touch of vintage allure. The three chronograph sub-dials keep track of 1/4 second, 30-minute and 12-hour. Complete with the iconic Breitling branding and protected with a cambered sapphire crystal cover. Surrounding the dial, the bidirectional ratcheted bezel features a black pointer and numeral markings. Presented on a brown pilot-inspired leather strap with white stitching - known for its softness and ability to look good over time - with a folding clasp fastening for the ultimate comfort and convenience. The Classic AVI Curtiss Warhawk is powered by the in-house Breitling Manufacture Calibre 23 movement, which provides approximately 48-hours of power reserve. Its 100M water resistance is ideal to ensure it ticks all the boxes for style and everyday practicality, it’s presented in Breitling branded packaging and comes with a 2-year brand warranty.
